Special issue on two days of workshops in which high-profile scholars across political and international theory engaged with the thought and practice of Antonio Gramsci. Discussion revolved around two central themes: Approaches to Gramsci' and World Order in Question' that united the commonalities whilst revealing the contentions or differences in interpretation and contemporary development of Gramsci's ideas. Andreas Bieler and Adam David Morton co-ordinated the workshop held at the University of Nottingham (24-25 October, 2003) that was co-funded by the University of Nottingham, Lancaster University, BISA, IPEG, and the PSA.
