Variazioni sull'utopia in Antonio Gramsci

fa parte di Polis, Revista de Ştiinţe Politice , 5 , 2(16) , marzo 2017 - maggio 2017 , pp. 121 - 135
This essay offers a plurality of views on utopia, contained in the works by Antonio Gramsci since his years in Turin until the Notebooks. Some variations of the term utopia are dealt with, in connection with the phases of our author's intellectual biography as well as in the general framework of his theory's critical form. Although lacking a permanent linear attention to the subject, Gramscian pages establish a sort of direct relationship utopia's worth with the foundation of the aware and concrete will, indispensable to the political project of change. Even Machiavelli is comprised in a similar thread, represented as modern and definitive landing stage of political utopia.
