Que es la "sociedad civil" y cuales son sus desafíos in el Salvador?

fa parte di Estudios Centroamericanos , L , 557 , March, 1995 , pp. 252 - 256
«The term "civil society" is briefly examined through the definitions of G. W. F. Hegel, Karl Marx, Antonio Gramsci, & V. I. Lenin in an attempt to arrive at its meaning for El Salvador in the context of postwar social reconstruction. The ties & allegiances of societal institutions to the ways of the past, particularly to the subordinating tendencies of the state in the previous decade, are seen as major obstacles to the formation of a civil society. It is argued that, although the "civilizing" of politics is underway in the country & the emergence of civil society is assumed, the direction that this emergence will take is still open to question» (V. R, Jr).
