Gramsci e os perigos do cosmopolitismo
The article warms against the risks of a normative use of Gramsci's ideas in the historical analysis. It denounces the appearance of a neoanthropological perspective that changes the globalization process from na economic phase of capitalism to na interpretative paradigm of modernity. It demonstrates how the globalization ideology gets to naturalize historic facts, canceling its spatial and temporal relativity. The article questions some abstract uses of some of Gramsci's ideas. It strongly criticizes the theorical claims of cosmopolitanism and defines it as an ideologythat not only separates intellectuals from their corresponding contexts but also points to the culturally and economically predatorytrends of the present globalization process (from http://www.faced.ufjf.br/).
