Algunas consideraciones analíticas en torno al concepto de "sociedad civil" en Antonio Gramsci
In this article the functions of concensus fulfilled by civic society in maintaining the hegemonic order of a capitalistic society are pointed out, especially in relation to their function in neutralizing citizen conflict and dissidence. In order to study Gramsci´s arguments, we have created an hermaneutic of his concept of "civic society" according to the following objectives: i) it projects an ideological-cultural direction of capitalist hegemony; ii) it permits the organization of citizens according to class interests in order to regulate and administer productive processes (structures for value exchange) , which justify the inter-structural inequalities between economy and society; iii) the conflict of classes inherent in its nature of exploration and alienation is neutralized by a State that articulates, within a normative juridic framework, the discursive structures of the processes of coercion and socialization (concensus), which favor the social interests and needs of the bourgeois class. The conclusion is that in bourgeois civic society, the ideolization of social institutionalized discourse generates a subjective alienation of the social collective that hides its true social being, impeeding the development of its possible conscious, its strategies for action and conflict, and the generation of a philosophy of praxis.
